Stephen D. Burbach is a registered patent attorney with over 20 years experience prosecuting and litigating patent, trademark and copyright matters. His practice is currently focused on patent preparation, prosecution, and opinion work. Stephen has in-depth experience in a wide range of technology areas including wireless communication, network communication, cardiac rhythm management systems, neurostimulation systems, memory systems, integrated circuit design, computer graphics systems, object-oriented applications, database applications, and client-server applications.
Stephen received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, California, and his B.S.E.E. from the University of Colorado, Denver, Colorado. Prior to law school, Stephen was a hardware and software engineer for Bell Telephone Laboratories developing telecommunication and data network systems.
Stephen is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is admitted to the State Bar of California and various U.S. courts including the Central District of California and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
