Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Chem Senior Patent Prosecution Attorney/Agent (Of Counsel)

Loza & Loza LLP, a nationally-ranked, intellectual property law firm, is seeking a Senior Patent Attorney with 10+ years of patent prosecution experience and a degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or medicine, with knowledge of the drug discovery and development processes. Experience representing clients in the pharmaceutical industry required. USPTO registration and at least one state bar license preferred, but strongly qualified patent agents will be considered. This is an “as needed” Of Counsel position where telecommuting and flexible hours are available. We will consider qualified candidates in any part of the U.S.

Bio/Chem Patent Prosecution Partner w/Portable Book of Business

Attorney with 10+ years of patent prosecution experience and an advanced degree in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent scientific field. Proven record of client development, as supported by a portable book of business.  USPTO Patent Bar registration and at least one state bar license required. Knowledge or expertise in preparing patent applications and prosecution, preparing infringement and validity opinions, and client counseling.  Experience in representing clients in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical device, and/or chemical industries required. Attorneys control their own billable rates and there is no minimum hourly requirement. Telecommuting and flexible hours available. We will consider qualified candidates in any part of the U.S.

Intellectual Property/Technology Litigation

Seeking Senior/Lateral and Junior litigators with 6+ years of IP litigation experience with knowledge in patent/trademark/copyright litigation in federal court, licensing/contracts, cease and desist letters, and/or client counseling.  Proven record of client development as supported by a portable book of business.  At least one state bar license is required. Attorneys control their own billable rates and there is no minimum hourly requirement. Telecommuting and flexible hours available. We will consider qualified candidates in any part of the U.S.

EE/ME Patent Prosecution Partner w/Portable Book of Business

Attorney with 10+ years of solid patent prosecution experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent fields. Proven record of client development, as supported by a portable book of business.  USPTO Patent Bar registration and at least one state bar license required. Experience in preparing patent applications and prosecution, preparing infringement and validity opinions, and client counseling. Attorneys control their own billable rates and there is no minimum hourly requirement. Telecommuting and flexible hours available. We will consider qualified candidates in any part of the U.S.

Lateral Trademark Partner w/Portable Book of Business

We are looking for an IP attorney who has a proven record of client development with 5+ years of experience specifically in U.S./foreign trademark prosecution (search, filings and responses to office actions), domain name disputes, TTAB proceedings, trademark litigation, trademark licensing, and cease and desist letters.  Attorney must have a portable book of business and growing IP practice.  IP litigation experience in patent and trademark would be valued.  At least one state bar license required.
