Besides helping clients obtain patents, Raz also believes in a strong line of communication with his clients to help strategize his clients’ intellectual property interests as they relate to their businesses. To further this effort he drafts various written opinions of counsel for patent validity, patent infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Raz has also played a lead role in overseeing patent and other IP related issues during acquisition negotiations of a client by a third party. The client was ultimately acquired for more than $50MM. Raz also handles cybersquatting cases and domain disputes. Most recently, Raz helped a local business win their UDRP domain dispute and keep their valuable .com domain.
